We just got engaged. Where do we start?

Couples usually begin by booking a venue. This establishes your wedding date, which will make it much easier when booking other wedding vendors. Our website will share exactly who we are and all that we have to offer.

How many guests can your space hold?

Ideal: 50 to 150 guests with 6-8 guests per 60” round table and extra room for food, dancing, DJ, gift table, etc.

Max: 200 guests with 10 guests per 60” table and little room to spare.

Do you host weddings for same-sex couples?

Of course we do.

Do you allow outside vendors?

Yes we do. Upon booking, we can provide you with recommendations of vendors we know and trust. Couples are welcome to bring whoever they’d like, with the exception of a few vendors that we require listed below.

Do you require any vendors?

Yes, we require our couples to use a Hidden Springs Wedding Coordinator or a professional coordinator or planner from our pre-approved list. We also require you to use a professional caterer and serving staff, and a licensed and insured bartender from our pre-approved list, if alcohol is being served. See below for more information concerning alcohol.

Do you allow alcohol?

Yes. You may serve beer, wine, seltzers, and 1-2 mixed drinks from a preset menu. A full bar, as well as self-serving, is not permitted. Alcohol must be served by a licensed and insured bartender who has added Hidden Springs Venue to their insurance policy as a rider and has provided the venue with that certificate of insurance. Couples must select their bartender of choice from a list of professionals provided by the venue. A security officer may be required to be hired if serving alcohol. This would be facilitated by the venue, and the cost would come out of your security deposit.

Do you require event insurance?

Yes, with a minimum of $1M in coverage and host liquor liability.

What’s the venue like in the extreme hot/cold?

All of our cabins and our wedding barn are climate controlled. For hot weather, the barn is air conditioned alongside three large ceiling-mounted fans to help circulate air. The ceiling fans can be especially helpful for couples who would like all four sides of the barn to be open. For cold weather the barn is equipped with heat, as well as two outdoor patio heaters to keep guests warm.

What’s your Plan B for weather-related issues?

During inclement weather, the ceremony and reception can both be held inside the barn.Regardless of the ceremony location/guest count, our wedding party will be able to stand by your side. Your arbor of choice may be moved inside the barn, as well. Our barn also has 20’ sliding doors on each wall that give the illusion that you’re outside and in nature, despite being under the safety of the roof.

  • If your guest count is 60 or less, the barn can be set up in rows of ceremony seating alongside your reception layout.

  • If your guest count is above 60, 1-2 rows for family can be arranged at the front and all other guests will be seated at their reception tables while the ceremony is taking place.

What kind of parking is available?

We have two large parking areas close by but out of sight from the wedding barn with steps leading down to the barn. For accessibility, we have a drop-off area just a few yards from the barn with no steps to navigate. We have additional spaces on the back side of the barn for easy access for vendors.

What’s the average wedding budget for couples who book with Hidden Springs Venue?

Couples who book with us for a Multi Day event usually have a budget of $15,000-$35,000+. Couples who choose to book a Single or Week-Day event with fewer vendors, smaller guest counts, etc. might spend as little as $10,000.

Does the price listed for each package reflect the total that we actually pay?

Hidden Springs offers a very transparent pricing guide so that couples are able to clearly weigh their options. There are no hidden fees, taxes, gratuity or cleaning fees added to the price that you see. We do offer a variety of rentals, enhancements and upgrades for couples to customize their event if they choose.

Multi Day events at Hidden Springs Venue include overnight accommodations for up to 12 in the Thistle Styling Suite and the Evergreen Polishing Suite in the package price. A total buyout of our four additional cabins is required with a 1-night minimum stay. Two Classic Cabins each at $400 per night + Two Family Cabins at $600 each per night = $2000 total to be added to the package price. These four additional cabins sleep up to 33 guests. They may be invoiced separately to family/friends or will be added to the couple’s contract.

What do you require to reserve a date?

We ask for a signed contract, 25% of the total booking cost, and a $500 refundable security deposit.

Upon booking, how do we pay?

Our payment methods are detailed in our contract - we prefer taking payments via check or Venmo, however we do accept credit card payments upon request (3% fee will apply).

Can we add an extra day to our reservation? (e.g. for a rehearsal dinner)

Yes. Within three months of your wedding day, if our calendar allows it, you may extend your reservation by as many days as you’d like. All additional days must be added on by at least 30 days in advance of your reservation.

What are the sizes of your tables?

Here’s the sizes of the tables we include in our wedding packages:

  • Farm table: 42”x8’

  • “Sweetheart” Farm table: 42”x5’

  • Round folding table: 60”

  • Rectangle folding table: 30”x8’

  • High Top table: 31.56” round top, 43.5” H

What arbors do you have available and what are their measurements?

We offer a selection of 6 custom, hand-built arbors to fit each couple’s style. Each package includes your choice of one arbor. For an additional fee, you may use another arbor for decor purposes, photo backdrops, etc. Click here to view arbor photos and dimensions.

Do you provide linens?

Yes, we include white or ivory round linens with each package. Table runners and additional linens are available from our Rental Collection.

Can we bring our pets?

Yes, you may bring your pets! Pets must be leashed and supervised at all times on the property, as well as cleaned up after. Pets are not permitted on cabin furniture and must be crated when left unsupervised inside cabins. A pet fee will apply.

Where are the nearest hotels located?

There are multiple hotels located in close proximity. Hotels closest to our venue include SpringHill Suites, Hampton Inn, and Holiday Inn, which are all only 15 minutes away in Ooltewah, Tennessee. Ranging between 15-35 minutes travel, other local cities with hotel accommodations in Tennessee could include Chattanooga, East Brainerd, and Cleveland. North Georgia cities could include Dalton, and Ringgold.

Do you offer off-season pricing?

Our pricing is consistent year round, but we offer a selection of perks for our clients that book in these months: January, February, March, July, August, December.
